Goldilocks never would have wasted time trying out other chairs if this cushy customized seat had been among the three bears' furnishings. The furry cover is attached with Velcro, so you can easily launder it - or even swap a different patterned fabric when your child is ready for a change.

What you'll need
- Painted wooden chair
- Thin foam cushion
- 1/2 yard no-fray faux fur
- Velcro strips
- Hot glue gun
How to make it
- Trim the foam cushion to fit the chair seat, then cut out a piece of faux fur that's an inch or so larger than the cushion all around.
- Cut the Velcro strips into lengths that match the fabric edges, then hot-glue the top portions of the Velcro to the underside of the fabric and the bottom portions to the surface edges of the seat.
- Set the cushion in place and cover it with the fake fur, using the Velcro to secure it.
