What you'll need

  • White Nail Polish
  • Paper Towel
  • Neon Green Nail Polish
  • Neon Pink Nail Polish
  • Bright Blue Nail Art Polish
  • Fast Drying Top Coat

How to make it

Step 1

1. Start with a nail painted white. Make sure it's very dry.

Step 2

2. Wad up a little piece of paper towel. I find for this design the cheaper paper towels work best because they have less lint.

Step 3

3. Paint a green stripe onto the paper towel.

Step 4

4. Use the painted paper towel to dab green nail polish on half the nail.

Step 5

5. You might have to dab a few times to get it perfect.

Step 6

6. It's okay if you get it on your hands, just use a q-tip dipped in nail polish remover to get it off.

Step 7

7. Now get a new piece of paper towel and paint pink nail polish on it.

Step 8

8. Paint the other side of your nail pink.

Step 9

9. It's okay if a little of the white shows-- that's part of the sponge painted style.

Step 10

10. Take your blue nail striper and paint zebra stripes on your nail. If you move your nail, and not the striper, this is much easier.

Step 11

11. Make sure you do both sides.

Step 12

12. When you're finished, your nail should look like this.

13. Paint your nails with a fast drying top coat, and you have awesome zebra nails!
