Robins Eggs Malted Milkshake Recipe

By Bellalimento

Do you have a PILE of Easter candy leftover? We do and I’ve been looking for fun ways to breath new life into them. While perusing the blogosphere this weekend I came across a Robins Egg Malted Milkshake and knew I’d have to give that a try.

Luckily the Easter Bunny left robins eggs. So I sorted through my ehem the kids malted eggs and separated them by colors. I put each color into individual zip top bags and let each of the kids bash their color. Different sized pieces made for great texture. Then we whipped up some fresh whipped cream {you can use store bought}. These made for a fun and quick afternoon snack with each of us having our own colors. It would also be great for an after dinner treat.

We like our milkshakes extra thick, if you prefers yours not as thick, either reduce the amount of ice cream or increase the amount of milk.

I’ll be sharing more ways to use your Easter leftovers in the next few days. Waste not, want not.
