Egg Pakoda Recipe

This yummy Egg Pakoda serves as a great tea-time snack. It is easy to prepare, takes less than 15 minutes and uses very few ingredients. So, now you know what to serve with tea next time.

Egg Pakoda

Ingredients

  • Eggs - 2 nos.
  • Green chillies - 2, finely chopped
  • Onion - 1, large sized, finely chopped
  • Coriander leaves - 1 tbsp, finely chopped
  • Chickpea flour (Besan) - 2 tbsp.
  • All purpose flour (Maida) - 2 tbsp.
  • Ginger - 1/2 tsp., finely chopped or grated
  • Garlic - 1/2 tsp., finely chopped
  • Lemon juice - 1 tbsp.
  • A pinch of baking soda
  • Salt as per taste
  • Oil for frying

Preparation

Nicely beat eggs.

Add rest of the ingredients to the beaten eggs.

Heat oil in a pan and put 1 tbsp. full of batter in hot oil. Fry till pakodas turn slightly golden in colour. Make rest of the pakodas in the same way.

Serve with hot tea or ketchup.
