Preservative city! Rather than filling your morning with a whole bunch of chemical whoo-hah, here’s a quick, simple multigrain pancake mix that your family is sure to love, using ingredients you’ll really want to put in your body.

Multigrain Cinnamon Bun French Toast
Multigrain Pancake Mix
Ingredients
- 6 c. white whole wheat flour
- 1/2 cup flaxseed
- 1/4 c. cornmeal, finely ground
- 1 c. oatmeal (I prefer Coach’s Oats)
- 2 1/2 Tbsp. baking powder
- 1 Tbsp. baking soda
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. salt
Directions
- Combine all ingredients together and store in an airtight container for up to 1 month.
- To make pancakes, combine 1 c. mix with, 1/2 to 2/3 c. buttermilk, 1 egg , 1 tablespoon vanilla, and 2 Tbsp. melted butter. Cook on a hot griddle. Enjoy!
