  • for 1 bowl:
  • 1 1/2 cups cooked creamy wheat cereal (cook according to package)
  • 1/2 cup warmed vanilla almond milk
  • 2 Tbsp gingerbread swirl
  • 1 Tbsp raisins, optional
  • gingerbread swirl (will be enough for two bowls):
  • 1 Tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 Tbsp vegan butter
  • 2 tsp maple syrup
  • 1/4 tsp ginger powder
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • a few dashes nutmeg
  • a pinch of cardamom powder

(if you have molasses, add in a few drops as well)

To make:

1. Heat the gingerbread swirl ingredients in the microwave — stir until creamy.

2. Add your cream of wheat to serving bowl. Gently fold in warmed vanilla almond milk as desired — more milk makes a wetter bowl.

3. Swirl the gingerbread flavor over top and serve! Gingerbread sprinkles optional!
