Ingredients
- for 1 bowl:
- 1 1/2 cups cooked creamy wheat cereal (cook according to package)
- 1/2 cup warmed vanilla almond milk
- 2 Tbsp gingerbread swirl
- 1 Tbsp raisins, optional
- gingerbread swirl (will be enough for two bowls):
- 1 Tbsp brown sugar
- 2 Tbsp vegan butter
- 2 tsp maple syrup
- 1/4 tsp ginger powder
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon
- a few dashes nutmeg
- a pinch of cardamom powder
(if you have molasses, add in a few drops as well)
To make:
1. Heat the gingerbread swirl ingredients in the microwave — stir until creamy.
2. Add your cream of wheat to serving bowl. Gently fold in warmed vanilla almond milk as desired — more milk makes a wetter bowl.
3. Swirl the gingerbread flavor over top and serve! Gingerbread sprinkles optional!
