Festive Cocktails: the Gingerbread Martini Recipe

Festive Cocktails: the Gingerbread Martini Recipe

By JulieVR

It’s always fun to have an interesting cocktail that’s easy to mix up for your holiday parties; this gingerbread martini is a spin on the uber-popular gingerbread latte, in boozy form. A cocktail shaker is a fun, inexpensive investment; if you don’t have one, gently invert one pint glass onto another and use it instead. If you like your martinis on ice, leave them in. If there are kids around, serve up cinnamon-spiked chocolate milk in fancy martini glasses so they can get in on the cheers, too.

If you like, rim your glasses with crushed gingersnaps; if it’s a dressy party, I skip this step to prevent guests from getting crumbs all over their outfits!
