My son came to me the other day with marshmallows in one hand and a box of graham crackers in the other. He said “Mommy lets make s’more smoothies.” I thought I had heard him wrong, so I asked again, and in the clearest voice he said “S’more Smoothies!” He was so enthusiastic and happy about the idea. It surprised me, I had never heard anything like it, so I went to googling and got an idea of how we should make them. I went out and got the other few ingredients we needed, and today we made them. And wow are they good. It’s definitely not exactly a nutritious smoothie, but it’s an amazing once-in-a-while treat that’s super kid-friendly.
S’more Smoothie
Ingredients:
For the smoothie:
- 1 whole graham cracker
- 1 cup milk ( I used dark chocolate almond milk)
- 1 tablespoon chocolate syrup, if using plain milk
- 1 heaping tablespoon marshmallow fluff
- 1 cup ice
For garnish:
- chocolate chips
- whipped cream
- graham cracker
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients for smoothie to blender, and blend on high until ice is crushed.
2. Garnish smoothie with chocolate chips, whipped cream and graham cracker.
