What's your child's favorite band? What does she think is cool? Does she have a favorite expression? Now she can tell the world with this easy-to-update charm necklace.
What you'll need
- Old magazines
- Scissors and a glue stick
- Colored plastic lids from coffee cans or other containers
- Clear packing tape
- Single-hole punch
- Key rings
- Ball chain and connector
Helpful Tip:
Glue another cutout to the back of the plastic and, no matter which way the pendant falls, you won't be at a loss for words.
How to make it
- Cut out a bunch of interesting words from old magazines and glue them onto the plastic lids, leaving enough space around each to create a colorful margin.
- Cut out the plastic-backed words, leaving room at one end to punch a hole later, and seal each of them with clear packing tape.
- Trim any excess tape from the edges.
- Punch a hole in the plastic and attach a key ring.
- String all of the words onto a necklace-length ball chain.
