Prep Time 30 minutes
I love to serve fruit as a party treat. Fruit is sweet, fruit is fun and fruit are colorful!
This year, when my daughter asked for a "rainbow party", making fruit skewers was the first idea that was added to the party menu. This time, they will have a drizzle of the sweeter version of the yogurt fruit dip that we enjoy at home.
Here is an easy way to make rainbow skewers with a cinnamon vanilla yogurt fruit dip that your guests (big and small) will love.

What you'll need
- Rainbow fruit skewers
- Red fruit (cubed watermelon, rasperries, or strawberries)
- Orange fruit (cubed cantaloupe or oranges)
- Yellow fruit (cubed pineapple or mango)
- Green fruit (cubed green cantaloupe or kiwi)
- Blue fruit (blackberries or blueberries)
- Purple fruit (red grapes)
- Yogurt fruit dip
- 1 cup vanilla yogurt
- 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon powered cinnamon
Helpful Tip:
Do not give fruit on a skewer to small children. Remove the fruit from the stick and serve it to them on a plate.
Variations:
To save time: Buy pre-cut fruit
To save money: Peel and cut the fruit at home
How to make it
- Arrange the fruit in the skewers in the order of the colors of the rainbow: Red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple. Make sure the pointy tip of the skewer is covered by fruit.
- In a small bowl mix the vanilla yogurt, sweetened condensed milk, vanilla extract and cinnamon and refrigerate until ready to serve.
- When serving time comes around, drizzle the fruit skewers with the cinnamon vanilla yogurt dip and leave some in a bowl next to the rainbow fruit skewer display for guests to add to their plates.
