A quick and healthy variation of an American favorite.
What you'll need
- 1 1/2 tbsp. olive oil
- 2 tbsp. minced red onion
- 1 tbsp. finely chopped ham
- 1 lb. fresh skinless and boneless salmon
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. black pepper
How to make it
- Heat 1/2 tablespoon olive oil in skillet over medium heat. Add onion and ham and sauté for 2 minutes; drain. Coarsely chop salmon in a food processor or meat grinder. Using a fork, gently blend onion and ham mixture with salmon, salt and pepper and form the mixture into 4 patties.
- Heat remaining olive oil in a clean skillet over medium heat. Add patties and cook until golden brown, about 2 minutes on each side. Makes 4 servings.
