Materials
- Graph paper
- Pencil
- Markers
Instructions
- Start by creating a colorful border of Xs (one X in each box). Then, use a pencil to lightly draw letters and other shapes in the grid.
- With marker, put Xs in the boxes your pencil line crossed, then erase the pencil marks.
- Try other patterns and classic sayings, such as "Home is where the heart is" or "A stitch in time saves nine."
