Personalized Stationery

Total Time Needed: 1-2 Hours

Kids can make those holiday thank-yous extra special by designing their own notes and envelopes with this textured name stamp.

Materials

  • Pipe cleaner
  • Corrugated cardboard
  • Craft glue
  • Ink pad

Instructions

Personalized Stationery - Step 1

1. Start by bending a pipe cleaner into your child's name. (Longer names may require connecting another pipe cleaner.) Cut 3 identical corrugated cardboard rectangles, about 1/2 inch wider on all sides than the name. Apply a line of craft glue to the front of the name.

Personalized Stationery - Step 2

2. Press it onto a cardboard rectangle and trim the excess cardboard from around it.

3. Glue together the other two pieces of cardboard to make the stamp base, then glue on the one with the name. Be sure to let the glue dry completely before pressing the stamp onto an ink pad.
