Materials
- Wide craft sticks or tongue depressors
- Wooden craft spoons
- White craft paint
- Colored felt, beads, pipe cleaners, mini pom-poms, twigs, markers
- Craft glue
- Ribbon
Instructions
- Paint the craft sticks, or tongue depressors, and wooden craft spoons with white paint and let dry. (If you're preparing for a party, paint them the night before to cut out the drying time.)
- Once you've got that white snowy base, let the kids plunge into the felt, beads, pipe cleaners, mini pom-poms, twigs, and markers to create a snow person self-portrait, or a whole snow clan complete with family pet. After the glue has dried, add the artist's name and the date to the back of the ornament and glue on a loop of ribbon to hang it on the tree.
