Cabbage with Shrimps

Not many people would be aware of this cabbage and shrimps pairing, but this dish is quite common is bengali households. During my childhood I used to refuse any preparation of cabbage, till the time my mum started cooking it this way.

This is quite easy and hassle-free to prepare. Some people like to cook it with peas instead of shrimps. However, I prefer it this way to give a non-veg twist to it.

Cabbage with Shrimps

  • Shrimps - 250 gms, cleaned and deveined
  • Cabbage - 1, small sized, finely shredded
  • Bay leaf - 1 no.
