Classic Creamy Guacamole for Cinco de Mayo

Classic Creamy Guacamole for Cinco de Mayo

By Bellalimento

It’s almost Cinco de Mayo! And if you’re having a Cinco de Mayo party, you’ll need to have guacamole! There a gazillion ways to make guacamole but my favorite is this classic creamy version. There’s no reason to buy guacamole from a jar or plastic container. You can make your own in just minutes and it it’s going to be a hundred times fresher and better ; )

You can easily double or triple this recipe according to how many people you’ll be serving. Just make sure your avocados are ripe. A quick way to know this is this: TIP: If you can remove the nub at the end of the stem of the avocado the avocado is ripe. If there isn’t one you can also tell by holding the avocado in your hand with gentle pressure it should just barely yield to the pressure of your thumb, but NOT be mushy.

It’s perfect for making guacamole or if you have any left over these AVOCADO TOMATO TOASTS ; )
