Simple Stuffed Summer Sliders Recipe

Simple Stuffed Summer Sliders Recipe

By Bellalimento

Summer time means sliders! Sliders are just bite sized burgers. I love that they cook up in a flash. You can be enjoying these babies in about 10 minutes top to bottom. I like my burgers juicy and with minimal fixings. Feel free to add whatever you prefer. Sliders are great for appetizers (hello party platter) quick afternoon or late night snacks or even a light lunch.

Simple Summer Sliders

What you’ll need:

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon dried Italian seasonings
  • 8 – 1/2″ mozzarella cubes
  • 1 package King’s Hawaiian sweet rolls
  • basil, cherry tomatoes – optional to garnish

What to do:

1. Into a bowl add: beef, seasoning. Gently mix to combine

2. Scoop out 1/4 heaping cup of beef. Press down into measuring cup to create patty. Use your thumb to create a indentation in meat. Place one cube of cheese into center and cover hole. Continue until all patties are formed.

3. Preheat grill pan (or grill) to medium-high. Place patties onto hot grill. Grill for 3 minutes each side or until to your desired doneness. Allow sliders to rest for approximately 2 minutes

4. To assemble: Place sliders between buns.

Optional to garnish: place a basil leaf on top of each slider. Skewer a cherry tomato and insert through slider.
