Pillsbury Christmas Dessert Pizza Recipe

Pillsbury Christmas Dessert Pizza Recipe

By Kelsey Banfield

We are really into making homemade pizza this year. After a course I took at King Arthur Flour last spring I’ve become very confident in making it at home. We usually make our own dough, but sometimes I pick up a tube of Pillsbury dough. With my young daughter on hand it is really easy to unroll and bake without all the waiting time. The other day we picked up our first bags of Christmas candy and we decided to make a dessert pizza.

First we baked the crust on its own, before adding all the fun toppings. I had some white chocolate spread and nutella on hand so we made it look like a half-n-half cookie with all of the great holiday candy as decoration. We each ate a slice as our dessert after dinner and loved it. It was certainly a treat, not something I’ll be made everyday, but it is fun nonetheless. It made me thing that this would also be a great dessert for a kids holiday party or a school craft.

  • Holiday candy
