What you'll need
- a brick of florist foam
- dried moss
- drinking straws
- hot glue gun
- scissors
- flowers (ones with a narrow stem work best)
How to make it
1. Cover florist foam with moss using hot glue.
2. Take a skewer, small dowel or sharpened pencil and poke holes into the moss. This will make it easier to put in the drinking straws.
3. Insert drinking straws into the holes. Trim them to the height you'd like.
4. Fill straws with water, then place a freshly cut flower into each straw.
5. That's it! Use the drinking straw garden as a centerpiece or anywhere in the home that needs a touch of spring.
This would make a lovely decoration for a spring or garden themed party, don't you think?
