With this card, no binoculars are necessary to spy a pretty fowl! If your father loves the great outdoors, he'll really appreciate this bird-covered craft
What you'll need
- Cardstock (colored)
- Tree bark
- Pictures of birds (from magazines or computer print outs)
- Twigs (small)
- Design paper
- Glue stick
- Double-sided padded tape
How to make it
- Step 1: Cut 6" W x 12" L card using colored card stock.
- Fold every 4" (into an accordion shape).
- Cut out pictures of birds (one large and several small birds).
- Cut out 2½" W x 4½" L rectangle shape using design paper.
- Step 2: Glue large piece of bark to left side of first card panel.
- Apply double-sided padded tape to back of bird pictures.
- Affix one picture of a large bird on bark.
- Step 3: Place smaller birds on middle panel.
- Glue rectangle shape to center of third panel.
- Glue small twigs on all four (4) corners of rectangle shape.
- Glue a piece of bark to the top of the rectangle shape.
- Glue a piece of bark to the top of rectangle and a bird to the bottom right corner
- Optional: You can glue bird seed on card as well to give some added texture.
