A fun flaming treat served over ice cream.
What you'll need
- 4 firm, small bananas, peeled
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/3 cup light rum
- 1/4 cup butter
- Dash of cinnamon
- Vanilla or coffee ice cream

How to make it
- Cut bananas in half lengthwise. Heat brown sugar and butter in a 10 inch skillet until the sugar is melted. Cook and stir for 2 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Add bananas and cook slowly a minute or two until heated and glazed. Sprinkle lightly with cinnamon.
- Add rum. Ignite. (Be careful: turn your face away.)
- Spoon liquid over the bananas until the flames die out, about 1 minute. Serve warm over ice cream.
