We've started doing movie nights with our three-year-old every few weeks and she LOVES it.
Of course, what would movie night be without a little popcorn?
As I was brainstorming new popcorn recipe ideas, I suddenly remember the peanut butter popcorn my mom used to make (although I hadn't had it in nearly two decades!).
I made a few changes to my mom's recipe, but it's still just as delicious and simple as it was when I was a kid.

- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 1/2 teaspoon coarse salt
How to make it
- Put the popcorn in a large bowl. Set aside.
- In a saucepan, melt the butter and sugar together over medium heat until smooth. Stir in the peanut butter and cook until well-combined. Pour over the popcorn and mix thoroughly until the popcorn is well-coated. Sprinkle with the salt and toss to combine. Serve immediately.
