What you'll need
- 1 cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons lime juice
- 4 cloves garlic
- 2 teaspoons ground ginger
- 3 pounds flank steak

Variations:
Substitution(s): Lemon juice can be substituted for lime juice.
Any London broil steak, about 1-inch thick, can be used.
How to make it
- In large resealable plastic bag mix soy sauce, honey, lime juice, garlic and ginger to combine. Lightly score steak on both sides. Add steak to marinade. Marinate in refrigerator 4 to 8 hours, turning occasionally.
- Heat broiler. Cover sided cookie sheet with aluminum foil. Cook steak 4 inches from heat for 11 minutes, turning once, or until medium rare.
