Like a training-wheels version of the traditional game, this adaptation offers all the exhilaration with none of the apprehension because -- shh -- there are actually enough seats for everyone!
Materials
- Chairs (as many as their are children playing)
- Music
Instructions
- To play, simply set out as many chairs as there are children, then put on some boisterous music.
- Tell the kids to dance in a big circle around the chairs until they hear the music stop, when they must - quickly, quickly! - find a chair and sit in it until the music resumes.
- With all the scrambling and squealing, you'd never guess there are always enough seats to go around.
