Plastic Easter Eggs come off the bench for this postseason special: mini footballs filled with treats.
Ingredients
- Plastic eggs (the kind that open)
- Sandpaper
- Paintbrush
- Brown acrylic paint
- White paint pen
- Small treats
Instructions
- To make a batch for your squad, first commit some necessary roughness by rubbing the surface of each plastic egg with sandpaper, then paint them brown.
- When the paint has dried, add white laces and stripes with the paint pen. Let the eggs dry completely before filling them with goodies. Tip: Create a holder for easier painting by hot-gluing 2 thumbtacks directly across from each other just inside the rim of an empty 15-ounce can. Let the glue dry, then gently squeeze the can into a slight oval shape. Slip the eggs between the thumbtacks to hold them while you paint.
