Who, who wrote the book of love? Kids can compose their own after receiving one of these wise-looking owls perched on a pencil.
Materials
- Owl template
- Card stock or scrapbooking paper
- Scissors
- White paper or card stock
- Glue
- New pencil
Instructions
- To make an owl, download our template. Trace and cut a teardrop shape from card stock or scrapbooking paper. Fold over the narrow end, then cut the owl's forehead, as shown.
- Next, draw and cut eyes from white paper or card stock, then glue them to the card. Cut vertical slits about an inch apart near the bottom of the owl's body and slip a pencil through the slits.
