This hot and spicy mix is sure to zip up burgers, meat loaf, and roast beef sandwiches. Add a little horseradish to the mix, and it makes a great seafood cocktail sauce or dip for fried foods too.
Ingredients
- 2 small jalapeño peppers, seeded and chopped
- 2 1/2 cups ketchup
- 2 teaspoons lemon juice
- 1 1/2 teaspoons hot pepper sauce
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
Instructions
- In a food processor or blender, combine the jalapeños, ketchup, lemon juice, hot pepper sauce, and onion powder. Pulse the mixture several times to mix. Scrape down the sides of the bowl and process until the mixture is well blended, about 30 seconds.
