Materials
- Duct tape
- Craft knife
- White, black (for the sheep), and/or yellow (for the Starry Night) duct tape
- Waxed or parchment paper
- Permanent marker
Instructions
Background Color First remove a light-switch plate from the wall and cover it with duct tape, folding the ends onto the back. Use a craft knife to cut an X in the center slot, then press the flaps against the back of the plate.
Enlightened Switch PlatesSleepy Sheep Stick white and black duct tape onto waxed or parchment paper. Turn over the paper and use a permanent marker to draw the shapes shown at right, then cut them out. Peel away the paper and assemble the sheep as shown above.
Starry Night Stick strips of white and yellow duct tape onto waxed or parchment paper. Turn over the paper and use a permanent marker to draw stars and a moon. Cut out the shapes, then peel away the paper and stick them on the switch plate. (We reserved 2 of our stars for covering up the screws after we put the switch plate back on the wall.)
