I love to bake cookies for Christmas. We always have a huge plate of a variety of cookies at our Christmas Eve party. This year, I decided that it would be fun to get with my Mother-in-Law and Brother-in-Law and spend a day in the kitchen baking cookies. We had lots of fun and I really enjoyed going through old recipes that have been in my husband's family for several generations.
This recipe for Molasses Cookies comes from my husband's Great-Grandmother, and while I am not a huge fan of molasses, this is one of my favorite cookies. It's sweet, chewy and because of the spices, reminds me of Christmas.
