How to baked fish Chinese style recipe

Ingredients (240 ml cup used)

  • 500 grams of salmon
  • ½ tbsp. vinegar
  • 3 tbsp. Any hot red chili sauce
  • 2 tbsp Chinese cooking wine (optional)
  • 1 tbsp. chili garlic sauce
  • 2 tbsp. Light soya sauce
  • Salt very little
  • Vegetables or leeks slit length wise
  • ¼ cup of onions (crush them coarsely)
  • 2 tbsp. thinly sliced garlic
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds
  • ¼ tsp pepper powder
  • 1 tsp rice flour or semolina (optional, use if you want to have a crusty fish)

How to make the recipe

  1. Wash and make several cuts over the fillet diagonally.
  2. Mix all the sauces, wine, and salt and onion paste. Marinate the fish .Set aside for at least for 2 hrs or overnight is better.
  3. Preheat the oven at 160 C and bake fish for 40 mins. After 20 mins add the vegetables or leeks and sprinkle the garlic, pepper powder and sesame seeds. Drizzle the rice flour.
  4. Continue to bake till the top turns crusty.
